Originally from Lansing, Michigan, since moving to California I have lived in San Jose, Mountain View, Fremont, Hayward, San Leandro, Sausalito, San Rafael and for the past 14 years, Livermore. I guess you could say I know my way around the Bay Area.
My lovely wife of over 20 years, Lee Ann Dreffs, is from Fremont and has worked at the California School for the Deaf for more than 25 years. She supervises transportation, as well as day counselors and night attendants for residential students.
Our son, James Dreffs, attended Arroyo Seco Elementary School, East Avenue Middle School and is now a senior at Livermore High School. He played two years of football and is beginning his fourth season of volleyball for LHS. James is fluent in French, has a 4.0 GPA and has recently completed the requirements for Eagle Scout. He is applying to UC Berkeley, Stanford University and Cal Poly, among others.
The dogs, Libby and Wilma, allow us to live in their home, for which we are truly grateful.
